Whether you plan to walk into our store to get your artwork translated to print or plan to send it to us through email, it is important to have a few guidelines about artwork and file set up sizes, paper size and matching design to paper sizes, printing of bleeds and trims and design for envelope printing. Follow these guidelines in order to save time and get it right the first time around in the most cost effective way.
For example, when it is a matter of your catalogue or brochure having “bleed” printing i.e. edge to edge printing without a border, it is essential to extend the design area beyond the cutting area and while doing this, keep the paper size in mind. Refer our guidelines on color, fonts, paper stock and sizes and everything else that will help you in your design for print. Image resolution, CMYK/RGB and other points are also addressed here.
